OUR MISSION

Nuniwarmiut School is a supportive, healthy, and bi-culturally connected community working together to provide our students with high-quality academic preparation so they can reach their desired goals. We teach the importance of success, respect, and independence through Cup'ig and English cultural values, traditions, and biliteracy.

At Nuniwarmiut, every student is cherished and encouraged to achieve their goals. We take great pride in creating a positive and collaborative environment, and we are dedicated to delivering rigorous instruction that helps our students develop 21st-century skills.

Our Dual Language Program helps our students achieve fluency in both Cugtun and English. It is important that we preserve the rich traditions and cultures that are at the heart of our community. We create environments where students can celebrate their heritage, share their stories, and build bridges across cultures. Through engaging lessons, cultural activities, and community partnerships, we empower our students to become confident, multilingual leaders who are proud of their roots and prepared for a diverse world.
